フルレンジスピーカーのみのシステムに迫力を加えたいならサブウーハーの増設をお薦めします。「VQ1500D」ならミキサーのメイン出力といつものメインスピーカーの間に接続するだけと接続も簡単で、別途チャンネルディバイダーを用意しなくともステレオ2ウェイシステムを組むことができます。フルレンジから出す信号は、INPUTの信号そのままか、100Hz以下をカットした信号と選べる点も柔軟性が高く良いです。15インチの2ウェイスピーカーが出す低音と15インチのサブウーハーが出す低音は全く別物です。低音を増強する大きなバスレフポートのある木製の頑丈なエンクロージャーからは、まさに「地を這うようなロー」が出てきます。一般的には組み合わせるフルレンジより大きいサイズのウーハーを組み合わせるので10インチ、12インチのメインスピーカーシステムの追加にピッタリだとい思います。ちなみに「VQ1500D」のINPUTは2つあるので、2本のメインスピーカーに対してサブウーハー1本という2.1チャンネル・システムも可能です。
