■ Features 7 COSM amp types, including EXTREME, and 8 digital effects: In addition to 6 legendary guitar amp types like the JC CLEAN, plus dedicated microphone algorithms, the new EXTREME effect combines high-gain distortion with crisp sound. Each amp type is also tuned for optimal sound as a room amp. Effect options include five selectable EFX types: CHORUS, FLANGER, PHASER, TREMOLO, and HEAVY OCTAVE, plus independent DELAY and REVERB. The REVERB also features a spring effect, which provides a warm, distinctive reverberation. Effects can also be used with microphone input, making it ideal for vocal performances.
◎ i-CUBE LINK for connecting an iPhone or iPad for jamming and recording: The i-CUBE LINK terminal acts as an audio interface for your iOS device when connected to an iPhone or iPad. Using the free iPhone app ""CUBE JAM,"" you can jam, record, or mix down along with your favorite songs. You can freely change the playback speed and pitch of songs. Center cancel can also be used to cut out sounds that are centered. This is also effective for practicing guitar solos. Recorded performances can also be exported to cloud-sharing apps such as Dropbox. The i-CUBE LINK terminal also functions as a standard AUX IN terminal.
■ The MICRO CUBE GX uses a dual power supply: an AC adapter (included) or six AA batteries (sold separately). Battery life is approximately 25 hours (when using six nickel-metal hydride batteries). With an ultra-compact body measuring 247 (W) x 172 (D) x 227 (H) mm, it's easy to take with you and play guitar anywhere, even at street gigs.

The headphone jack, convenient for practicing at night, doubles as a recording output. Connect a BOSS BR series guitar or similar and easily record the sound of the MICRO CUBE GX. It also comes equipped with a tuner function. It can be used not only as a chromatic tuner, but also as an open 5th string (A) tuner.
