A powerful synthesizer made in Germany. Featuring analog multi-mode (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass) filters, self-oscillating resonance, a unique oscillator section, and a captivating, powerful sound design machine.
Rocket is a powerful monophonic synthesizer. Its compact, simple interface belies its astonishing sonic possibilities. Launch powerful sounds reminiscent of the legendary Saturn V engines used in the 1970s Apollo program. Rocket is a rule-breaking synthesizer that defies UN resolutions and the fundamental laws of physics. 100% Made in Germany - From Germany, with love.
Powerful Sound Engine and Control
The oscillators deliver rich sonic variation, controlled with just three knobs and one switch. Switch between high-density square/pulse and sawtooth waveforms, and enjoy high flexibility with detuning, pulse-width modulation, and oscillator sync. Select the sawtooth waveform and set it to unison mode to play up to eight chords. (Pseudo-polyphonic)
The Rocket features an analog multi-mode filter with selectable low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass modes. Increasing the resonance will enable self-oscillation, and setting the key track to 100% will add a beautiful oscillating sound (sine wave) to your playing. Rocket also features an external audio input, allowing you to use it as a powerful filter box by inputting sounds from other synthesizers, drum machines, and more.
Turning the boost switch on adds rich harmonics with a pleasant saturation.
Adding organic variation to the sound can be achieved by using the LFO or arpeggiator. The LFO can modulate the VCO pitch or VCF cutoff. The arpeggiator is a powerful tool, with a 1-4 octave playing range or eight built-in rhythmic patterns. From light sequence sounds to acid basslines, enabling oscillator glide further enhances its expressive potential.
Pressing the launch button will play a sound. It can be used to preview sounds when a MIDI keyboard or sequencer is not connected, or to easily play percussion or sound effects.
A refined and beautiful interface
Intuitive sound creation
One of the Rocket's greatest attractions is its refined and beautiful interface, designed by legendary synthesizer designer Axel Hartmann. The knobs and switches are neatly arranged on the square chassis, functionally positioned, making sound creation a breeze. There's no need to use cumbersome shift buttons or navigate through layers; current sound parameters can all be seen on the panel.
Most parameters, with the exception of a few switches, can be controlled via external MIDI, allowing editing using editor software or automation using a DAW.
