This all-solid model features a solid top, sides, and back. Numerous refinements have been made to achieve beautiful tone, rich volume, and excellent response. The optimal thickness of the top has been carefully researched to deliver a bright, powerful sound with excellent response. The harmonic bar placement has also been redesigned to achieve a balanced response from low to high frequencies. Additionally, the paint on the bridge and back of the neck has been reduced in thickness by approximately half compared to previous models, transmitting rich vibration energy throughout the guitar and improving playability. Furthermore, improved precision in the processing of the bridge saddle and grooves has reduced vibration transmission loss and improved response. All of these are the result of Yamaha's accumulated research and the skills and improvements passed down from experienced craftsmen.
