The BEHRINGER DIGITAL SNAKE I/O S16 is a 16-in/8-out digital snake stage box developed for the X32, the most powerful digital mixer in its class. It features KLARK TEKNIK's SuperMAC digital networking functionality with AES50 specifications. Using a Cat-5e LAN cable, it can input and output up to 48 channels of digital signal, and the S16's built-in preamp gain can be remotely controlled from the X32. Even when running a 100m LAN cable from the S16 to the X32 on stage, there is no degradation in sound quality or latency. Eliminating the hassle of setting up heavy multi-cables and boxes, setup is quick and easy with just a single LAN cable. Up to two S16s can be connected, functioning as a powerful stage box with up to 32 in/16 out.
