This 2-channel amp simulator/preamp pedal recreates the sound of a VHT amp's preamp. By connecting it to the FX RETURN of a guitar amp, you can create sounds that are not affected by the amp's characteristics. It also comes with a new ""OUT DRIVE"" terminal, so you can connect it to the amp's input like a regular distortion pedal.

■2-Channel Guitar Amp Simulator / Preamp / Distortion Pedal
The second in our pedal-type preamp series, perfectly recreating the preamp sound of famous guitar amps using compact analog circuitry. The newly equipped ""OUT DRIVE"" jack allows you to connect the pedal to a guitar amp's input not only as a preamp but also as a distortion effect. All models also feature a new clean channel, providing even greater sonic variety and flexibility.

■VHT Type
The Vt-2 emulates the VHT's lead channel, which boasts high gain yet is extremely nuanced and well-defined. It delivers a rich and powerful output, from gut-pounding bottom notes to ear-splitting high notes.

AMT ELECTRONICS' LEGEND AMP series is a preamp series that answers the desire to create your favorite sound with any amp. This unit can be connected to any guitar amp with an FX RETURN jack, and the amp's preamp section can be bypassed, allowing you to create sounds that are not affected by the amp's sound color.

■2-Channel Specification
The output from the ""OUT PREAMP"" and ""OUT CAB.SIM."" jacks operates as a 2-channel preamp for clean and lead. When the effect is turned off, the EQ is bypassed and the unit switches to a clean channel with a single volume. The clean channel's sound character is the same for all models, and is Fender amp-style. The ""CL.BOOST"" switch also allows you to adjust the clean channel's tone balance. When output from the ""OUT DRIVE"" jack, the clean channel is disabled and bypassed.

■Connection
Three types of output jacks can be used simultaneously depending on the application.

・OUT DRIVE:
When connecting this unit in series with the guitar amp's preamp section, connect this jack to the guitar amp's input. This output disables the unit's clean channel and bypasses it.

・OUT PREAMP:
This jack provides output from the preamp. Connect to the FX RETURN of a guitar amp or power amp.

・OUT CAB.SIM.:
This jack outputs the preamp output with cabinet emulation added. It can be connected directly to a mixer or interface.
When this jack is not connected, the power consumption is automatically reduced from 6mA to 4mA, providing excellent power savings.

・IN:
Connect a guitar.
