CROWN / XTi 6002

The CROWN (AMCRON) / XTi6002 is a power amplifier equipped with a high-performance DSP that can drive large speakers with high output performance with a margin. Various settings such as crossover, equalizer, delay, and limiter can be set on the LCD display. The dedicated software Band Manager 2 makes more advanced settings possible on a PC.

The "XTi 6002" has an output performance that exceeds the class in a lightweight and compact body with a mass of 10.9kg and EIA 2U. Equipped with a unique Class-I amplifier circuit that generates high power with low heat generation and high efficiency switching power supply and low power consumption. A 2Ω stereo output can output 3,000W + 3,000W, and a 4Ω bridge mono output can output as much as 6,000W. It can drive not only large speakers but also line array speakers that drive many cabinets. In addition, the Peak X Plus limiter, which allows detailed settings for threshold, attack, and release, maximizes output performance. It is also lightweight and easy to carry, making it ideal for temporary PAs.

The "XTi 6002" is equipped with a high-performance DSP, and can execute various audio processing without preparing a separate processor. The crossover slope can be freely selected from Butterworth (6,12,18,24,48dB / oct) or Linkwitz Riley (24,48dB / oct), and the frequency can be set to any value in 1Hz steps. Each channel also has a parametric EQ with 8 input points + 6 output points and a delay of up to 50mS. In addition, a sub-harmonic synthesizer that produces ultra-low frequencies based on the input signal and outputs powerful heavy bass. Equipped with a convenient pink noise transmitter for checking the system. Up to 49 DSP settings can be saved as presets in the main unit and recalled instantly, making setup quick and easy. Detailed DSP settings and presets can be saved from HiQnet SystemArchitect software on a USB-connected PC. HiTinet Band Manager software for XTi is also available.

“XTi 6002” input signals can be routed inside the unit. A link terminal for splitting the input signal is also provided. The output prepared two terminals, a binding post and a speed controller. In addition, the front panel has a large backlit LCD display for recalling presets and DSP settings. A lock function that prohibits operation of the display is also provided. Additionally, the handle is integrated with the cast aluminum front panel for easy portability.
