The TASCAM CD-500B is a 1U rack-mount professional CD player that offers high reliability and stable playback. It features a full range of functions, including numeric keypad playback and flash start, as well as balanced output. This standard model CD player is ideal for a wide range of applications, including recording studios and PA systems, as well as wedding halls, public facilities, and meeting minutes.

■CD Player

・The CD-500B is a 1U rack-mountable professional CD player. Its brushless motor-driven CD drive offers superior durability compared to conventional drives, ensuring high reliability even during extended use.

・The disc loading system uses an edge-hold slot-in mechanism that holds the outer edge of the disc for insertion and ejection, protecting the disc surface from scratches. The front panel is equipped with a numeric keypad. In addition to track selection from the front panel, direct playback is also possible, with instant playback starting at the touch of a key.

・Audio outputs include analog unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs, as well as coaxial, optical, and AES/EBU digital outputs. External control is available via RS-232C serial and parallel control, as well as the optional RC-3F foot switch.

・Further features include anti-shock memory for stable playback, a panel lock function, and an eject lock function during playback, enabling the construction of highly secure facility and distribution systems.
