TASCAM / LA-81MKII Line Converter

The LA-81MKII is a line converter manufactured by TASCAM. It has eight built-in circuits that convert balanced inputs to unbalanced outputs. It is equipped with an indicator that shows whether a signal is present and a semi-fixed trim that aligns the levels of connected devices.

- The LA-81MKII is a 1U rack-mountable balanced/unbalanced line converter with eight built-in circuits that convert balanced inputs to unbalanced outputs. It is the successor to the long-selling LA-81 model.
- The front panel features an indicator that shows the presence or absence of an input signal, and a semi-fixed trim that matches the level of connected devices.
- The bottom panel switch allows for input signal distribution (ADA: Audio Distribution Amplifier). It is possible to distribute a balanced input signal to an unbalanced output.
