20.5kgと聞いて「重いな」と思うかもしれませんが、コレ、実はとっても軽いんです。15インチで木製エンクロージャーなら、パッシブでも大体25～30kgはしますし、この『B215D』はパワーアンプを内蔵しているパワードスピーカーという点を考えると、とっても軽いですよね。15インチをスタンドにマウントする時はかなり重く、持ち上げるのが辛いというイメージありますが、これは1人でも大丈夫でした。横に転がしてフロアモニターとして使えるのもありがたいです。15インチならではの音圧と、樹脂製エンクロージャーならではのクリアな中高域の音飛びが良いので、小中規模くらいまでの会場ではメインとして、大規模な会場ならステージ上のモニターとして、使い勝手が抜群に優れていると思います。使い方も簡単で、ボリュームと2バンド・イコライザーのみなので誰でも迷うことなく使えるという点もGoodです。
