■Correct pitch and tuning are essential for music production, instrument building, and tuning. A tuner is a measuring instrument. However, conventional tuners, which only measure the average value of the input signal, lack precision and cannot be called measuring instruments. Peterson tuners achieve approximately 30 times the accuracy of conventional tuners (0.1 cent = 1/1000 of a semitone), allowing for precise tuning.
■StroboRack's tuning library includes 34 sweeteners and temperaments, including Peterson's own. In addition to standard guitar sweeteners, it also includes sweeteners compatible with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, sweeteners for violin and dobro, and classical temperaments.
