The Black TUSQ XL series' black material complements the design of your instrument.
The TUSQ XL series maintains correct tuning longer than any other synthetic resin nut, such as graphite or plastic. This also results in a crystal-clear tone and improved sustain. TUSQ XL's reliability is evidenced by its use by guitar manufacturers worldwide.
When the string vibrates, TUSQ XL releases Teflon micromolecules. These molecules coat the TUSQ XL, minimizing string friction and reducing tuning drift. These Teflon molecules are released from the nut, so they never disappear or get lost, and their lubricating effect is always maintained.
