The PS-8102-00 is a Deluxe Tele-style String Saver original saddle. The String Saver creates a thin Teflon membrane as the string moves and vibrates against the saddle, reducing string breakage and improving tuning stability. It also delivers the deep, crisp tone and rich sustain of a vintage saddle.

String Saver creates a thin Teflon film as the string moves and vibrates against the saddle. This acts as a lubricant, preventing the string from being excessively fixed against the saddle and spreading the stress that tends to be concentrated in one spot over a wider area. This reduces string breakage. String Saver saddles produce a deep, crisp sound, similar to that of a vintage steel saddle, resulting in improved sustain.
