TUSQ nuts and saddles are designed to transfer string vibrations to the body most efficiently. The result is a lossless acoustic resonance, from crisp highs to rich lows. The harmonic content is also far superior to that of bone, restoring the wonderful sound that would have been lost due to other components. For acoustic guitars, the greatest effect can be achieved by having all three components: nut, saddle, and bridge pins.
