This treble booster recreates the Hornby-Skews sound produced between 1967 and 1969. It features a volume control for adjustable boost. It uses rare OC44 germanium transistors, delivering the powerful, bite-like sound heard on classic hard rock albums. The guitar's volume control allows you to control everything from lead tones to crunch sounds.

■The HS Custom is an HS with an added volume control. This was modified by Ritchie Blackmore in 1974, and when turned up halfway, it produces the tones of Deep Purple's ""BURN"" and early Rainbow.
■The HS is a faithful reproduction of Hornby Skewes circuitry and parts. Hornby Skewes was a now-defunct British manufacturer used by numerous British rock groups from 1967 to 1969. Ritchie Blackmore's legendary performances on Deep Purple's ""DEEP PURPLE IN ROCK"" and ""Made in Japan"" are due in large part to the Hornby Skewes's stunningly powerful tone.
