■The FireBall was manufactured for only three years, from 1967 to 1969, and is a treble booster based on the Hornby Skewes used by Ritchie Blackmore during his time with Deep Purple. The powerful, bite-filled sound of Deep Purple's classic albums, such as ""In Rock"" and ""Fireball,"" was precisely the result of overdriving the amp with a Hornby Skewes treble booster.
■The BSM HS uses the same parts as the original, including rare European germanium transistors, to faithfully replicate the original 1967 Hornby Skewes. Furthermore, the FireBall HS was crafted to extremely strict standards, carefully selecting germanium, which has a wide range of operating characteristics.
