This is because the precise tuning point is extremely narrow, and the tolerance range changes slightly depending on the tone. PETERSON's strobe tuner allows tuning in 1-cent increments, surpassing other tuners in terms of response speed. It can tune to nine different temperaments, including a power 5th developed for guitar. It stands out from cheap tuners that only use equal temperament.
