The MPC-100A integrates a microphone preamp and compressor/limiter, eliminating unnecessary wiring and contacts and delivering clear output without muddying the tube tone. The microphone preamp section supports line input and features 48V phantom power, a two-position switchable PAD (-15dB/-25dB), and a high-impedance loading control. The attenuator also features a stepped attenuator and clip indicator. The compressor section features threshold, release, and gain controls, with attack and release times selectable between FAST, MEDIUM, and SLOW. The unit also features a level/gain reduction meter, clip indicator, and link/bypass switch for easy operation.
