SEYMOUR DUNCANの得意なビンテージJBサウンドを忠実に再現したモデル。当ブランドのベースピックアップと言えば高出力のHOTシリーズや、巨大ポールピースを搭載したQuarter Poundシリーズなどがありますが、このANTIQUITYシリーズも傑作です。Dun-aged加工と呼ばれる、マグネットの磁力を少しだけ弱める特殊な処理がされており、アルニコ2ですが単に磁力が弱いというのではなく、マグネットの経年劣化までも再現しているという拘りようです。音色としては太く重圧のある低音が特徴的。特に指弾きとの相性が良く、無駄な倍音や耳障りな高音がなくまとまりのあるサウンドを実感できます。カバーやケーブルにもリアルなレリック加工が施されており、見た目/サウンド共に期待どおりのビンテージモデルです。
