■The Mongoose Fuzz was developed by Roger Mayer in 1985 and was created for musicians seeking distortion with a rich bottom end. The Mongoose's distinctive distortion incorporates a slightly wah-voicing effect. Compared to the Axis Fuzz and Classic Fuzz Face, it has a slightly more modern sound.
