Bass guitars often suffer from a problem known as head drop. The more strings a bass has, the more severe this problem becomes, causing stress during extended playing sessions. The RES-O-LITE series was developed to solve this problem. Made primarily from special duralumin, it achieves incredible weight reduction. The GB350 uses Rock-Solid technology to transmit string vibrations to the head without loss, while also achieving stable tuning and a smooth winding feel.

ヘッドの落ち改善

元々ゴトーの古い標準グレードのペグを付けていたがGB350に替えたところ、ストラップのみで肩にかけた場合正面から見て5時くらいまでヘッドが落ちていたのが4時くらいまで上がりました。
機能的にはさすがにゴトーなので今のところ全く問題ありません。
樹脂製なので、耐久性があまりにも悪くなければよいと思います。
ただ、素材としては絶対に金属よりは劣るので5年くらい何事も無く使えたら十分ですね。

ちなみにペグ交換したあと(ヘッドの落ち具合を確認して)軽い純正ブリッジからヒップショットの5 Strings A Style Black .669 Brassに替えたところ、3時までヘッドが上がりほぼ水平状態になり最終的に非常に使いやすくなりました。
