■The Fourth Model in Astell&Kern’s Original IEM Series
The “CLARUS” is the fourth model in Astell&Kern’s original IEM series, following the AK ZERO1, ZERO2, and LUNA. Carrying on the philosophy of “delivering music exactly as the artist intended—transparently and without distortion,” it faithfully reproduces the original expression of the audio source.

■Proprietary 6-Way Crossover and Tri-Hybrid 9-Driver Configuration
It features a 9-driver configuration per ear, consisting of one proprietary 9mm dynamic driver, seven Sonion balanced armature (BA) drivers, and one silicon MEMS tweeter. A proprietary 6-way crossover network controls the operating frequency bands of each driver to maintain continuity in timing, phase, and tone.

■Low-Frequency Hybrid System
For the low-frequency range from 20 Hz to 500 Hz, a 3-driver configuration combining a proprietary 9mm dynamic driver and Sonion dual BA drivers is employed. This achieves both the depth and natural weight of the sub-bass, as well as speed and clarity from the upper bass through the low-midrange.

■ Sonion Triple BA for the Midrange
For the midrange from 500 Hz to 7 kHz, a total of three Sonion BA drivers are used. Designed to deliver a sense of body and tonal density in vocals, as well as instrument separation and clarity, this configuration provides a natural transition from the low-midrange to the upper-midrange.

■ High-Frequency Hybrid System
For the high-frequency range, a hybrid system combining a silicon MEMS tweeter and a Sonion dual BA driver is employed. This system reproduces delicate details, a sense of airiness, clarity, and spatial breadth with high precision.

■ CNC-Machined 6061-T6 Aluminum Housing
The shell is crafted from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum via CNC machining. Finished with a silver anodized coating, its ergonomic form ensures a natural and stable fit while prioritizing rigidity and resonance control.

■Polyhedral Faceplate
Features a polyhedral faceplate made of 6061-T6 aluminum. The precisely cut surfaces and silver anodized finish create a three-dimensional design that makes use of light reflection.

■Astell&Kern × Effect Audio Premium Custom Cable
Includes a custom 4-core cable developed based on Effect Audio’s Ares S Lite. It uses UP-OCC pure copper litz wire, with an IEM 2-pin (0.78 mm) connector on the earphone side and a 4.4 mm balanced plug.

■AZLA SednaEarfit SE2000 Included
The earpieces feature AZLA’s SednaEarfit SE2000, made from medical-grade silicone. All six sizes—SS, S, MS, M, ML, and L—are included, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your ears.
