■Enhanced Preset Tones Designed for Band Use
Utilizing over 20 years of accumulated know-how, the sounds essential for keyboard players have been newly tuned. The sound engine uses the ZEN-Core, which has been adopted and well-received in flagship models such as FANTOM and JUPITER-X. It includes over 3,500 types of tones, including acoustic piano, electric piano, organ, strings, and synthesizer sounds. In addition, some of the highly-rated tones from the previous model, JUNO-DS, are also included.

Like previous models, the JUNO-D achieves high portability, robustness, and playability. The 61-key model weighs 5.8kg. This weight is not only portable but also strong enough to withstand intense playing. Furthermore, to improve playability, it employs the same keyboard unit used in the FANTOM-0 and other models, providing a higher level of playability. It also features mobile battery power, allowing for use in any situation without worrying about power supply.

The sound selection buttons, divided by category, allow you to instantly find the desired sound from the extensive sound library. DUAL, which layers two sounds, and SPLIT, which divides the key range to play multiple sounds, each have dedicated setting buttons for one-touch configuration. Of course, saving and loading edited sounds is also easy. Real-time operation during performance has also been further refined. It features sliders for intuitively adjusting the volume balance of two layered sounds in DUAL mode, microphone volume, and other parameters, as well as knobs for manipulating synthesizer cutoff/resonance parameters and assigning arbitrary parameters.

The JUNO-D can load Sound Pack SDZ and Wave Expansion EXZ from Roland Cloud. Not only is it class-compliant and requires no drivers, but it also allows for easy data transmission and reception with USB-C compatible smartphones and tablets. In addition to connecting to DAWs on a PC, it easily enables live streaming and video recording using a tablet, and playback of music from a smartphone via the JUNO-D's OUTPUT/HEADPHONE terminals.
