Black Pulse is a bass preamp/DI featuring overdrive, a 3-band EQ, and DI OUT. GAIN and BLEND controls let you create anything from natural overdrive that retains your bass's core tone to powerful drive sounds. A sweepable midrange from 160 Hz to 3 kHz provides precise tonal control.

The BASS section allows you to switch the center frequency between 40 Hz and 80 Hz. The 40 Hz setting delivers deep, full-bodied low end, while 80 Hz provides a tighter, punchier bass response.

With its XLR DI OUT, Black Pulse can be used in a wide range of applications as a bass DI/preamp. On stage, you can send the signal to both a bass amplifier and a PA system, while in the studio, you can connect directly to an audio interface for recording.

It also features a 3.5 mm LINE IN and headphone output. Connect a smartphone or other audio player to play backing tracks or songs while practicing bass through headphones.

From live performance and recording to home practice, Black Pulse is a versatile bass driver designed to serve as the core of your bass sound.

● Controls
・BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency range.
・40 Hz / 80 Hz: Selects the center frequency of the low-frequency range. 40 Hz provides deep, full-bodied lows, while 80 Hz delivers a tighter, punchier response.
・MIDDLE: Boosts or cuts the midrange.
・FREQ.: Adjusts the center frequency of the MIDDLE control from 160 Hz to 3 kHz.
・TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency range.
・VOLUME: Adjusts the output level of the OUTPUT, PHONES, and DI OUT.
・BLEND: Adjusts the balance between the dry and effected signals.
・GAIN: Adjusts the input gain and amount of overdrive.

・INPUT 0 dB / -10 dB: Attenuates the input level by 10 dB.
・DI GND / LIFT: Switches the ground connection of the DI OUT.
・DI OUT: XLR output for connection to a mixer, PA system, or audio interface.

・THRU: Outputs the unprocessed input signal.
