The Fuzz Face was created in the 1960s using germanium transistors, a common component at the time. As silicon transistors became more commonplace, circuits using silicon transistors were the norm. Neither is superior or inferior; both are beloved by many guitarists and have been used to great effect.

The Animals Pedal ANGEL BEAR FACE FUZZ is a fuzz pedal developed by Skreddy Pedals based on the silicon-transistor Fuzz Face.

The ANGEL BEAR FACE FUZZ's tone is instantly recognizable as a Fuzz Face, with a rich, full, and powerful sound. Start by setting the FUZZ knob to maximum and adjusting the volume with the LEVEL knob.

Then, try switching your guitar's volume control or pickup selection to hear how the tone changes.

The ANGEL BEAR FACE FUZZ's modes can be switched using the BRIGHT/JUICY switch. These two modes do not significantly alter the tone. In either mode, you'll hear the unmistakable Fuzz Face tone.

This switch toggles between different tones, similar to adjusting a guitar's Tone control. BRIGHT mode produces a sharper, slightly clearer tone, while JUICY mode produces a thicker, fuller tone.

The ANGEL BEAR FACE FUZZ allows you to easily experience the exquisite tone of a vintage Fuzz Face, making it a truly classic fuzz pedal.

●Controls
LEVEL: Adjusts the volume.
FUZZ: Adjusts the fuzz distortion. Generally, try adjusting it at the maximum setting. You can also adjust the distortion intensity with your guitar's Volume knob.
BRIGHT/JUICY: Sets the fuzz mode. This controls the texture and thickness of the fuzz. Choose the mode that best suits your taste. There may be a momentary dropout when switching modes for the first time.

The ANGEL BEAR FACE FUZZ features a true bypass footswitch and is powered by a 9V battery or a standard center-negative DC9V adapter.

*When using batteries, unplug the pedal from the input jack to conserve battery life. Also, remove the batteries when storing the pedal for an extended period of time.
