Based on the legendary sound and tone of the ""Fulltone OCD,"" one of the most legendary distortion circuits in modern guitar pedal history, this overdrive/distortion pedal was born from the inquisitive mind of Brian Wampler, the man behind many legendary distortion pedals, to achieve the more dynamic and highly responsive sound desired by modern guitar players.

With an intuitively controllable three-band equalizer consisting of bass, mids, and treble, as well as gain and level controls, and a mode switch, you can achieve anything from organic overdrive sounds with a wide range of expression to open distortion sounds. The two-stage mode switch provides a traditional gain stage in the down position, while in the up position, the cascaded MOSFET gain stages transform into a hard, tube-like sound.

In addition, by operating the internal ""Fat switch"" which adds thickness to the sound and the ""Diode switch"" which adds diode clipping to achieve a tight, saturated gain sound, you can add a modern and versatile sound flavor to the classic OCD sound that Brian was so particular about.
