MXR / POLY BLUE OCTAVE

The MXR Poly Blue Octave is a flexible and powerful octaver pedal that combines fuzz and modulation, allowing for a wide range of sound creation for single notes and chords, providing a wide range of expressive possibilities for live performance and studio use.

The octave controls feature four independent level controls: 1 & 2 octaves below, and 1 & 2 octaves above.

Two modes are available: polyphonic and monophonic. Polyphonic mode delivers high-quality sound for both chords and single notes. Monophonic mode recreates a vintage sound with analog-style pitch shifting.


External expression pedal support allows you to switch between two different settings by connecting a Jim Dunlop / Volume(X)8 or similar to the EXP jack. You can also use an external switch such as the M199 Tap Tempo Switch to turn the FUZZ and MONO switches on and off.


■CONTROLS
DRY: Adjusts the dry sound blend.
MOD: Controls the modulation speed.
SUB-1/SUB-2: Adjusts the volume of the octave sound 1/2 octaves below.
OCT+1/OCT+2: Adjusts the volume of the pitch shift sound 1/2 octaves above.

■EXTERNAL CONNECT
・EXP: Connect an expression pedal or tap switch to control parameters or switch settings.

■MODE SWITCH
・FUZZ: Turns the fuzz effect on/off.
・MONO: Switches between monophonic and polyphonic pitch shift modes. (When monophonic is selected: Red LED lights up)
