FitEar / FitEar TG334

The FitEar TG334 is based on the MH334 Studio Reference and incorporates various improvements, such as an oval-shaped stem and a shell design similar to in-ear monitors created using a 3D printer, making it suitable for a wide range of ear canals, providing excellent sound insulation, a comfortable fit, and sound quality equivalent to in-ear monitors.

■ Full-size BA unit configuration, the same as custom in-ear monitors
・The same full-size balanced armature driver as the MH334 Studio Reference custom in-ear monitors is housed in a compact, universal housing manufactured using a 3D printer. The internal configuration, including the network, is identical to that of custom in-ear monitors.

■ FitEar's unique stem structure (patented) for 3-way operation
・A pure titanium "Direct HF Tube" directly connected to the high-frequency driver prevents attenuation of high frequencies. At the same time, FitEar's unique real 3-way stem structure (patented) creates a 3-way structure, enabling the configuration of independent sound guides and resistors for each unit, just like in-ear monitors, even within a thin stem.

■ Further improved stem structure for improved fit and sound isolation
・FitEar's original "Oval 3-Way Stem" incorporates an oval cross-section of the real 3-way stem to take the shape of the ear canal into consideration, allowing for a more optimized eartip shape. It accommodates a wide range of ear canal shapes and sizes, further improving fit and sound isolation.

・The custom in-ear monitor "FitEar MH334," the foundation of the "TG334," is a favorite of artists, engineers, and other sound professionals, supporting their work in a variety of settings. Its sound is also favored by portable audio enthusiasts, and it has been FitEar's flagship model since its release in 2011. In 2016, in response to requests from professional users, we added the "Studio Reference" model, which was tuned to expand the high-frequency range and improve mid- and low-frequency resolution. We pursued a high-quality, powerful sound that can withstand the more demanding monitoring conditions in music production environments.

FitEar TG334を聴いたときの第一印象は、「音に厚みがあるのに、見通しがとても良い」ということ。
低域は量感だけで押すタイプではなく、ベースやキックの芯がしっかりと感じられます。中域では、ボーカルや楽器の質感が自然に前へ出てきます。特にボーカルの存在感が印象的で、近すぎず遠すぎない絶妙な距離感により、歌い手の表情までしっかりと聴き取ることができました。
高域も細かなニュアンスまで丁寧に拾いながら、刺さるようなキツさはなく、長時間でもじっくり聴き込めるバランスの良い音質です。
FitEarといえばイヤモニの人気ブランドとして広く知られていますが、TG334は、いかにもモニター然とした硬さを感じさせません。正確さを備えながらも、音楽を楽しむための心地よさがしっかりと残されているところが、大きな魅力だと感じました。
定位や分離も良く、制作時のチェック用途はもちろん、普段のリスニングでも一段深く音楽を楽しみたい方におすすめしたい一本です。
