While faithfully reproducing the original P.A.F. sound, component costs have been kept to a minimum, resulting in outstanding cost performance. The coil material and magnet, which are the core of the sound, use the same 42AWG plain enamel coil and alnico magnet as the original P.A.F.

For the front position, where string vibration is greater, the number of coil turns is reduced, and the magnet is an Alnico2, which offers a mellow, sweet tone.
For the rear position, the number of turns is standard, and the magnet is an Alnico5, which offers excellent picking nuance and a wild tone.
