""AMPLE METAL HELLRAZER 4"" is a guitar sound source from the ""AMPLE METAL"" series for metal and hard rock, letting you control a 9-string guitar with ease on your computer. Samples were meticulously recorded from the 0th to 24th frets of a SCHECTER HELLRAISER C-9. Covering more than five octaves (!) from the open 9-string notes of C#0 to E5, it's ideal for styles like metalcore, progressive metal, and djent. All the necessary articulations, including sustains, harmonics, palm mutes, legato slides, and hammer-ons/pull-offs, are recorded with a dry sound free of reverberation. Randomizing the ratio of picking attack and sustain sounds, and automatically inserting fret and release noises at appropriate points, allow for more realistic performances.

The ""Strummer"" mode allows for chord creation, allowing you to mix arpeggios and strums using up to eight rhythm patterns. The rhythm patterns can be switched in real time with a key switch. Chords can also be freely controlled with up/down strokes, mutes, and picking specific strings. The built-in amp system allows you to freely select and combine multiple amp heads, cabinets, and microphones to create your own unique sounds.

In addition, version 4 of the ""Riffer"" tool for creating guitar riffs has been updated to ""Riffer 4."" It now features a new piano roll screen. Editing the piano roll allows you to visualize which notes are being played on each string. It also features a DAW-like MIDI CC and velocity editor. You can even specify chords or keys to transpose notes together. The ""Strum Note"" function makes creating strums more intuitive and efficient, allowing you to treat multiple notes that make up chords in a riff as a single object. Parameters such as strum timing, velocity changes, and legato can all be controlled simultaneously.

Other features include a ""Tab Player Panel"" that loads and plays tablature created with tablature and score editing software ""Guitar Pro"" v3-v8, an 8-band EQ, a compressor with selectable RMS and Peak, a 6-Tap Echo, and an IR Reverb, making it an evolved guitar sound module that is visually easy to understand and use.

- Ability to adjust attack time and start time, which occurs between the time a finger or pick hits the string and the time it sounds when plucked
