This handpan from the SELA CAJON Melody series combines percussion and melody, making it easy for beginners to play. Its pleasant sound and long sustain are its hallmarks. The handpan's scale is pre-tuned, allowing for intuitive playing without prior experience or knowledge of music theory.

The D Amara, tuned A=440 Hz, is one of the most popular scales. The handpan features a central note of D3, surrounded by a circular arrangement of notes A3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, and C5. The bright-sounding D minor scale allows the D Amara to play a variety of melodies, from quiet and meditative to melancholic and powerfully cheerful. It's well-suited not only as a solo instrument but also for ensembles with other handpans, steel tongue drums, guitars, and percussion instruments.
The included carrying bag is made of tear-resistant nylon and is padded for safe transport. A convenient exterior pocket is perfect for storing small accessories like a metronome.
