Creating 3D sound sources that can be reproduced through stereo speakers or headphones without the need for multiple speakers (e.g., 5.1) is a demanding task. Panorama is a 3D panner plug-in developed to address this need. It uses psychoacoustics to control the positioning and distance of sound sources in three dimensions.

HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Functions) binaural processing ensures natural and precise sound localization. Multiple HRTF models are available, including the ""MIT KEMAR"" model, collected using a dummy head, and the ""UC Davis CIPIC"" model, collected using a human body. Advanced crosstalk cancellation technology enables 3D sound sources to be reproduced not only through headphones but also through speakers.

In addition, you can model natural spaces by specifying the room size in feet or meters, and selecting materials for the ceiling, floor, and front, back, left, and right walls, such as wood, curtains, and tiles. The Doppler effect also recreates the movement of sound images with varying speeds.

Panorama brings new expression to film, TV, and video game sound effects, music, dance music, ambient music, and even band sounds that require a sense of space different from reverb.
