HOSCO's H-FSWG helps you cut fret grooves accurately. By moving the fret saw along the guide, you can create straight, even grooves. A magnet holds the blade securely, and a non-slip surface secures the fingerboard. This is an essential tool for DIY instrument building and fret replacement projects, helping you achieve professional-quality results.
〇Makes your HOSCO fretsaw easier to use
This fretsaw guide is designed to allow you to work more accurately and efficiently with your HOSCO fretsaw.
〇Magnetic power keeps the saw blade stable
The white saw guide, which guides the fretsaw blade, contains three neodymium magnets that firmly hold the saw blade, allowing you to cut fret grooves straight and at right angles.
〇Maintains a consistent groove depth
The back of the fretsaw touches the saw guide, ensuring you always cut grooves at the set depth.
〇Non-slip silicone rubber
The table surface of the fretsaw guide is covered with non-slip silicone rubber.
The silicone rubber can be easily removed, so if you use a clamp to secure the fretsaw, be sure to remove the silicone rubber before use.
[Depth adjustment function]
-This fretsaw guide allows you to flexibly adjust the groove depth from 0mm to 4.7mm.
- Each mark on the side of the fretsaw guide represents approximately 1 mm of depth.
1. Loosen the thumbscrew on the side.
2. With the back of the fretsaw against the saw guide, check how much the saw blade protrudes from the bottom of the fretsaw guide to determine the desired depth.
3. Once the desired depth is determined, retighten the thumbscrew.
