Reverse Mode C is a wonderful interplay of movement and spatial expression. Forward. Backward. Upward. A multi-directional echo with multiple delay voices moving in completely different directions.

Blend different voices, output them independently, and even sequence them. Colorful, beautiful modulations will add color to your play. This unique delay device, brought to you in collaboration with Empress Effects, is inspired by a special mode featured in the 2008 Empress Superdelay.

Released in 2008, the Empress Superdelay is a masterpiece that pushed the definition of the ""delay effect"" into creative territory by building a variety of echoes, loops, and textures. It was more than just an effect; it offered a new feel, allowing for spontaneous exploration of inspiring sounds. The Superdelay was a major inspiration for Chase Bliss' approach. To celebrate Chase Bliss's 10th anniversary, they collaborated with Empress Effects to create Reverse Mode C, a tribute to Superdelay's most exciting sound mode.

Modulation: Explore six modulation types (two frequency shifts, vibrato, chorus, and two tremolos) that can be pushed up to audio rates. The rate can be synced to the delay time or set freely.

Multidirectional Echo: Reverse Mode C offers three distinct delay voices: ""Reverse Octave Up,"" ""Reverse,"" and ""Forward."" Output them independently, blend them in various balances, and apply unique panning to create colorful, layered, and expansive echo spaces.

Sequencing: Cycle through different voices to create rolling echoes and shifting stereo images. Continuous sequences add new layers of movement synced to the echoes, or you can control the sequence itself with the dynamics of your performance.

Expanded, Integrated Controls
Fully compatible with all modern controls, including MIDI, CV, EXP pedal control, and preset configuration. Modulate parameters with Chase Bliss-style ramping control, or even have the pedal itself modulate knobs.
