Equipped with three unique tape machine models, it's designed for ease of use and extremely low CPU load. It truly meets the demands of today's creators and engineers.

Three Machines in One
Softube's Tape plug-in brings this effect to your DAW at an affordable price.
This single plug-in emulates three machines: a high-end Swiss open-reel machine, a transformer-based machine, and a British tape machine. It also includes engineer presets from Joe Chiccarelli and Howard Willing!

Add the Tape plug-in to your DAW's master bus to emulate the flow of a commercial studio.

The Tape plug-in provides three tape machine emulations in one plug-in.

Type A is based on a legendary Swiss open-reel machine, widely acclaimed for its accuracy and linearity.

Type B is a highly colorful transformer-based machine that adds extra weight and smoothness to the low end.

Finally, Type C is based on a British tape machine with a distinctive vintage feel.


Special Features for Studio One Owners Only

Studio One Professional owners can use the Tape plug-in not only as a standard plug-in, but also add it to Mix Engine FX for Tape Multitrack functionality.

Tape Multitrack includes all the functionality of the Tape plug-in, plus selectable crosstalk between tracks. This means you can use a tape machine as a console.

Note: The licenses for Tape and Tape Multitrack are identical.

This means that even if you don't own Studio One, you can use it directly with Mix Engine FX if you install Studio One at a later date.
