The Softube Marshall Super Lead 1959 is a native plug-in version of Marshall's prized Plexi reference unit. It features high and low gain inputs, delivering a wide range of sounds, from twangy tones to wailing solos.
Tony Pratt has also faithfully recorded the 1960BHW cabinet and mic placement, allowing you to recreate historic rock sounds in your DAW.

The Marshall Plexi Super Lead is the amp that played the most important role in the history of rock music. In collaboration with Marshall, Softube meticulously modeled the components of Marshall's prized Plexi reference unit (early 1967 model) to create the first native plug-in version with as much contrast as possible. This plug-in version delivers the same response as the original at any setting, accommodating an incredible variety of playing styles.

- This plug-in is based on the Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959 reference unit, manufactured in 1967. Recorded by renowned engineer/producer Tony Platt, paired with a period-defining 1960BHW speaker cabinet.
Recorded at London's renowned Kore Studios with microphone selection and placement by Tony Platt.
Includes over 50 meticulously tuned presets (designed by AC/DC engineer Tony Platt).
Three mic combinations: FET, Valve, and Dynamic.
Three different mics for each setting (two close, one room).
Channel strips feature pan, volume faders, and solo controls for each mic, as well as a two-band main output EQ.
