The 4ms-authorized Pingable Envelope Generator expands the infinite possibilities of the basic ADSR envelope generator included in Modular.

Two independent envelope generators can be ""pinged"" by an external source, such as a DAW clock. This allows you to specify the envelope cycle length and create rhythmic effects and responses not possible with Modular alone.

Fully licensed and approved by 4ms, the manufacturer of the original hardware, Softube's 4ms PEG will expand your creative horizons. Easily create outlandish polyrhythms with percussive clicks and beeps, or match a shimmering dubstep bassline to the tempo of your track.
Multiply the tempo of each pinged channel to create two, three, four, or more envelope periods that are in sync with the beat, divide them to create longer periods while still following the pinged tempo, or send the generated envelope from one channel to CV modulate a parameter in another.
This module allows for interesting experimentation, often resulting in happy accidents and creative inspiration.
