AIRSTEP Kat EX Edition lets you switch channels, toggle effects, control effect types, and tap tempo on your KATANA amp hands-free.

Compatible with all KATANA models, including Gen3, MkII, and MkI, it transforms your KATANA amp into a more practical instrument.

Wireless tone editing is possible using the BOSS BTS app for iOS and Android.

The AIRSTEP YT EX replaces the BT-Dual adapter required for Gen3.

It also features two expression pedal inputs, freely assignable via the BTS app, for real-time control of assigned parameters.

When used with the KATANA-specific GA-FC footswitch, the GA-FC Extended Mode provides additional control.

No setup required, just plug and play. This is the ideal footswitch solution for all KATANA users, especially the KATANA 50.

■Connection Method
- Connect the AIRSTEP Kat EX Edition and KATANA amp with a USB cable.
- The dedicated BTS app connects via AIRSTEP via Bluetooth.
- Optionally connect two expression pedals.

■Wireless Tone Editing
With the AIRSTEP Kat EX, you can wirelessly edit your KATANA settings anytime, anywhere using the BTS app, without the need for a PC.
Gen 3 users can seamlessly integrate with the KATANA Gen 3 mobile app or the third-party Katana Librarian app without the need for a BOSS BT-Dual Adapter.
MkII or MKI model users can use the KATANA-AIR app or Katana Librarian.

■Two Expression Pedal Inputs
AIRSTEP Kat EX features two expression pedal inputs, allowing you to control all parameters of your KATANA amp, including volume, wah, and pitch, in real time.
Simply set your desired functions in the BTS app and you'll have full control of your tone with your feet.

■Further Expansion with the GA-FC
AIRSTEP Kat EX is more powerful and flexible than the GA-FC alone.
If you own a BOSS GA-FC footswitch, combining it with AIRSTEP's GA-FC Extended Mode and wireless BTS app control will maximize the potential of your KATANA amp, achieving performance far beyond the capabilities of the GA-FC alone.
