Recorded with the latest technology
Verve was recorded at Yamaha Studios in LA by the HALion team and Yamaha's sound design team. A state-of-the-art, custom-made single-finger robot was used to capture the felt piano's tone with the highest possible accuracy. This allowed every key to be accurately reproduced and recorded at a wide range of velocities, enabling an unprecedented playing experience with a virtual instrument.

Texture
The goal in creating the textures was to further enhance the feeling created by the felt piano. They were a perfect match for the piano's tone, coexisting beautifully with it. These textures allow you to lay down your piano notes and envelop your listeners in a unique space of textures. The 66 presets include a wide variety of textures, including metal, glass, dry ice, electronics picked up from a pickup, and orchestral strings.
