Variations

Originally, Ram and Coke was only available in RED, but this model has been tuned to my own sensibilities to create a more distinctive and more mellow sound. It has a distinctive midrange that creates a modern sound that is well suited to roaring, shoegaze, and ambient music, as well as pop music.

This new model adds two new features!

The first is the Gate control, and the second is the ToneShift switch.

As the name suggests, the Gate control adds a gated (crackling) feel to the sound, transforming it into a more fuzz-like sound. This control also allows you to thicken the low frequencies and create an edgy attack.

The ToneShift control expands the tonal range of each model, allowing for a wider range of use. While many muff pedals feature a ToneBypass, this one doesn't bypass the tone; instead, it adds a thicker midrange or a wall of bass while retaining the tone! In addition, when combined with the Gain control, it can also cover overdrive-type sounds, making it a versatile pedal that's more than just a muff pedal!
