Few artists embodied Epiphone's ""For Every Stage"" philosophy more than Paul ""Bonehead"" Arthurs. From early Oasis gigs at The Water Rats in London to the iconic Knebworth show, Bonehead consistently used an Epiphone Riviera.
Though audiences grew in size, there was always a wall of sound in front of them. Bonehead's solid, propulsive guitar playing played a crucial role in shaping the band's early sound. His 1982 Epiphone Riviera, which he played throughout the 1990s, was also used during the recording sessions for the iconic albums ""Definitely Maybe"" and ""(What's the Story) Morning Glory,"" as well as the legendary 1996 Knebworth concert.
The Epiphone Bonehead Riviera features a five-ply maple body with a solid maple center block for improved sustain and feedback resistance. It features single-ply cream binding on both the top and bottom. The three-piece maple neck features a SlimTaper C profile and volute, and is topped by a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and pearloid parallelogram inlays. The Epiphone Dovewing headstock features premium die-cast tuners with an E logo and metal oval buttons on the tuner knobs. Other features include a Graph Tech nut with reduced string friction, a two-ply crescent bullet truss rod cover with an E logo, and a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo and Gibson crown inlay. The back of the headstock also features a gold Bonehead signature.
The Epiphone Bonehead Riviera is equipped with two of Epiphone's renowned Alnico Classic PRO™ pickups. Each pickup is wired to individual volume and control knobs with high-quality CTS potentiometers, and the knobs feature a black witch hat finish with silver inserts. A dial pointer allows for easy confirmation of settings at a glance.
A hardshell case is included.
