The U89i is a universal studio microphone, combining a classic transformer-coupled circuit topology with a modern Neumann capsule. Its linear yet smooth response makes it ideal for voice-overs and speech, while five selectable polar patterns, low noise and distortion make it suitable for almost any recording situation, regardless of genre.
