STAX / UIM-1 USB-DAC for SRM-T8000

The STAX UIM-1 is a USB DAC module originally developed in Japan for installation in the optional slot (LINE 4) of the SRM-T8000.

■ High-performance DAC chip
- One ESS9038Q2M is used on each side in mono mode, and the circuits after the DAC, such as the low-pass filter, are also fully L/R independent.

■Independent power supply arrangement
- In addition to using carefully selected parts for the analogue section, independent power supplies are arranged for the CPU, DAC (digital/analogue) and operational amplifier blocks to suppress the mutual effects of noise and contribute to high sound quality.

■High sound quality sound source support
- Supports playback of DSD sound sources of up to 22.5 MHz when played back natively in Windows (when drivers are used).

- PCM sampling frequency: 44.1kHz (red), 48kHz (orange), 88.2kHz (yellow), 96kHz (green), 176.4kHz (light blue), 192kHz (blue), 352.8kHz (light purple), 384kHz ( Dark purple)
- DSD (Native method): 2.8MHz, 5.6MHz, 11.2MHz, 22.5MHz (white)
- DSD (DoP method): 2.8MHz, 5.6MHz, 11.2MHz (white)
