The ADVENT is an overdrive pedal that uses a CMOS inverter circuit that mimics the distortion characteristics of a vacuum tube to produce rich harmonics. It reproduces the unique feel of a vacuum tube amplifier, with a distortion waveform that doesn't peak out but extends and cuts forward.

■True Bypass (In bypass mode, the total length of the shielded cable is used, resulting in a loss of high frequencies. The unit's capacitance is 5-7 pF, equivalent to approximately 5 cm of shielded cable.)


- Natural harmonic structure achieved through CMOS inverter
Compared to conventional diode clipping (blue line in the diagram), the CMOS inverter (green line in the diagram) generates a smoother, more complex waveform. This results in a more solid sound image and musical overtones even amidst the distortion.

- Unique design that maximizes the guitar's natural character
Conventional CMOS circuit ODs tend to have a tendency to produce a turbulent low frequency range, but ADVENT carefully refines this characteristic, resulting in a silky, smooth distortion. It delivers a rich, deep sound, as if a tube stage had been added to the amp, without compromising the guitar's natural tone.

- Completely New Design & Equipped with Boost and Clean Mix Circuits
This unit is not a modification of an existing model; it is a completely original design. Internal boost ensures high headroom, preserving the original dynamics while outputting the signal to the amp. Furthermore, by intentionally mixing distorted and clean signals, it delivers a sound that brings out the nuances of your picking. Chord separation is also excellent.

- Neve-Inspired BAX-Type EQ
The treble and bass EQ sections use BAX-type circuits, as used in the Neve 1063 preamp. They offer a smooth, musical response, allowing for detailed sound shaping. They offer the flexibility to instantly adapt to your playing environment.
