Simply connect a foot-operated percussion instrument (stompbox) to the Stompbox Converter and it will convert and output a variety of digital percussion sounds just like stepping on a pedal.

■ Main Functions and Features
Sound Selection:
A variety of percussion sounds are built in. Common sounds include kick drum, snare, tambourine, and cajon bass. You can switch between these sounds using the rotary switch or buttons.

Sensitivity:
You can adjust the sensitivity to foot pressure. You can set it to sound with a light touch or no sound unless you press hard, depending on your playing style.

Input:
This has an input jack for connecting foot percussion (stompboxes). It's common to connect a dedicated stompbox like Drumport's ""Stomp Kick Basic,"" but you can also connect stompboxes from other manufacturers, or pick up analog footstep sounds with a microphone.

Output:
This is the jack for outputting the converted digital sound. This is usually a standard 6.3mm (phone) jack. Connect this to a mixer, PA system, or amplifier.
