Nordstrand Handmade Pickups are hand-wound in their own workshop by Carey Nordstrand, who previously worked as a master builder under John Suhr for five years and knows Fender instruments inside and out, and his assistants.

■The SV Model is based on the NJ Model and was created to be more versatile for the modern music scene. The split-style coil completely eliminates the noise issues that single-coil pickups pose. It is the same basic tone as the NJ Model, with only the addition of noise cancellation functionality. In addition to its clear sound quality, it features sweet highs, punchy mids, and rich lows.
