Nordstrand Handmade Pickups are hand-wound in their own workshop by Carey Nordstrand, who previously worked as a master builder under John Suhr for five years and knows Fender instruments inside and out, and his assistants.

■The SV Model is based on the NJ Model and was created to be more versatile for the modern music scene. The split-style coil completely eliminates the noise issues that single-coil pickups pose. It is the same basic tone as the NJ Model, with only the noise-canceling function added. In addition to its clear sound quality, it features sweet highs, punchy mids, and rich lows.
