SurfyBear is the original effects unit that was the origin of Surfy Industries. Originally developed as a DIY kit, it has the same specs as the Fender 6G15 reverb unit, but uses JFET transistor technology instead of vacuum tubes. It has a real spring reverb pan, not a digital effect.

Spring reverb technology has been widely known for over 50 years. Released in 1962, the Fender 6G15™ standalone reverb became the pioneer of electric guitar reverb units, and has continued to be loved by many musicians for many years.
The unique tone of spring reverb is still very popular among guitarists today, and the 6G15's sound is especially unique, making it an instrument in itself.
Guitarists use the characteristics of springs to create a distinctive sound called ""drip sound."" This is used in a variety of musical styles, including surf music.

Why SurfyBear?
SurfyBear is a spring reverb unit that boasts the top share in the current market.
Compared to the Fender 6G15, which is no longer in production and has become a collector's item, it is more compact and durable while being more affordable, and is especially designed for touring musicians.
Surfy Industries is also constantly improving its products, working with partners such as Belton/Accutronics to develop the SurfyPan, which mimics the sound and decay of the original Gibbs Pan (an early 1960s reverb unit).
