Like a typical studio compressor, it features attack, release, ratio, input, and output controls to minimize unwanted volume changes on stage. Attack and release control adjust the timing of compression, while the ratio adjusts the strength of compression relative to the original signal. The input controls the amount of raw signal fed to the compressor circuit, while the output acts as makeup gain/master volume, allowing Pedal76 to integrate smoothly with other gear or add a boost when needed.

Custom-made premium components are used to achieve authentic 76-style FET compression. The custom Cinemag transformer is designed to reproduce the professional performance and tone of studio units in a pedalboard-friendly format. An external switch allows for true bypass and buffered bypass switching, facilitating smooth integration with other gear. Equipped with switches for input sensitivity, GND/lift, pad on/off, and high/low gain mode (for DI operation), this unit offers enhanced convenience for live and studio use. A separate balanced output (DI) provides an optimal signal for connecting to a mixer or recording device, while high gain mode adds both grit and a rich, saturated tone.
