"MAW BOOTES" is the first in the brand's MAW series of re-cables, featuring a Pentaconn ear connector and 4.4mm balanced plug, further improving the sound quality of the MA910SR.

■A re-cable that adds more color to the sound of Takumi
・"MAW BOOTES" is the first product in the Maestraudio re-cable series "MAW (Maestraudio Amazing Wire)" and is a 4.4mm balanced connection compatible re-cable developed mainly to bring out the potential of the brand's re-cable compatible IEM "MA910SR". The conductor uses a 4-core hybrid configuration of silver-coated OFC x OFC. The connector is equipped with a Pentaconn ear connector, which has low contact resistance, low loss, and stable contact reliability. The MA910SR, which was used as the main during development, has increased the amount of information and resolution in the low range while making the most of the original smooth sound in the mid-to-high range, achieving high-resolution sound across the entire frequency range. BOOTES, named after the constellation Boötes, which beautifully colors the night sky, brings out the potential of the connected earphones more attractively and adds more color to the sound of Takumi.

■Development Background
・The MA910SR, which uses the original passive ceramic tweeter "RST", features a ceramic sound with good mid-to-high range and a wide sound field. The low contact resistance Pentaconn ear connector increases the amount of information, giving the sound even more depth. On the other hand, some listeners have suggested that the quality of the low-frequency sound be improved a little more. Therefore, we took advantage of the feature of the MA910SR that allows for re-cabling and worked on developing a cable that can meet more needs by re-cabling. The BOOTES we developed this time is a 4.4mm balanced connection re-cable developed for the above-mentioned MA910SR. The greatest effect of balanced connection is the suppression of crosstalk, which enables accurate sound positioning and spatial expression. When you close your eyes, you can even imagine the position of the performer and the realistic performance scene. At the same time, the hybridization of OFC and OFC with a silver coating improves the separation of the sound, and while maximizing the mid-high range of the MA910SR, the amount of information and resolution of the low range has also been improved, resulting in high-resolution sound across the entire range. The sound quality is suitable for any genre, and is of a quality that will satisfy many listeners. Maestraudio will continue to focus on developing MAW series cables that allow you to enjoy the changes in sound that occur with re-cabling.

■Origin of the name BOOTES
・Maestraudio's brand color "Maestro Blue" was chosen based on the color of the night sky. We decided to name the cable after the constellation that beautifully colors the night sky. BOOTES is the oldest constellation among the 48 constellations compiled by Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd century. In honor of this origin, we named the first re-cabling product in the MAW series BOOTES.
